A Dog in My Room

 4 my friends hav been stayin at my room. We went to Enoshima and swam all day long!! There were many young people and "Umino-ie." We swam, drank, swam again en again, and had drunk!!

In the night, we ate Yakiniku! Yakiniku matched with beer very much! one of my those friends, Kaneta had drunk too much and started to sleep on the table. He was a nuisance to the clerks. Hahaha:). 











One of My those friends, Kawamura took his dog to my room!! The dog is Shih Tzu!! How pretty he is!!!! I wanna have him as my pet. Actually, he is the cutest one in the dogs that I have ever seen!!

Everybody had fun and had exited in this soccer world cup. Unfortunately, Japan lost in best 8 games. But Japan team did well and they should their power to people all over the world.

Cheering my team, we supporters were united and could make friends each other. Sports can make us hot and make us get wildly exited. In addition, sports especially such a world cup come together with music. In this world cup, Shakira sang a theme song, "waka waka." It tastes like Latin music. Shakira's songs always make me not Waka Waka, but Waku Waku!!!!! It is a very rhythmical song and dance in this PV is so nice. I mastered this steps. Anyway, I'm glad that I could watch super play on the TV.

I caught a cold....

2 days ago, I caught a cold and I have 39'0℃ now. I feel cold though temperature is high. I wander why I caught a cold. I 've slept enough, I have eaten plenty foods. So, why?


oh, shit. I slept with no clothes and no blanket. That is exactly why I caught a cold. I never sleep without clothes.

I think washing hands, eating a lot of foods are important.

Sendai

I have some friends in Sendai, so I will go there in this summer vacation and go shopping, go to the pool, playing darts, and so on. I 'll stay in Uesugi's house. Uesugi is my kind friend. He is studying to become a doctor.




Anyway, Sendai is famous for local food, Gyutan. It is tang of caw and is veryyyyyy delicious. When I go to Yakiniku restaurant, I always order Gyutan. When I go to Sendai, Uesugi treats me Gyutan dishes.

This Summer Vacation

Since the end of July, my summer vacation will start!!!!!! I'm soooo happy!! My friend of high school hood , who study in Touhoku Univ. will come to the Tokyo and some of us will have fun together!!! Going to the Shonan coast, or enjoying at the night club is the best one, I think. I have never been to all seasides in the Tokyo, so in the future, I will go to all of them.

1st Book Report

Dahl Roald, Boy – Tales of Childhood, Penguin Group, Published in Great Britain,1984, 176pases

Plot Summary:

Dahl's parents were Norwegians who came to Cardiff, Wales in about 1910 after his father and his brother Oscar decided to split up and go their separate ways from Paris. His father was more than twenty years older than his mother; he was born in 1863 and she was born in 1885. By the time Roald was born in 1916, his father was 53 years old. His father had lost an arm from complications after fracturing it: according to the book a doctor was summoned, however the doctor was drunk on arrival and mistook the injury for a dislocated shoulder. His attempt to relocate the shoulder caused further damage to the fractured arm, causing it to later be amputated. He had two children from his first wife, who had died shortly after the birth of their second child. Roald's older sister Astri (his mother's first child) died of appendicitis in 1920 at the age of 7, when Roald was only three years old. His father died of pneumonia two months later at the age of 57. This tragedy came shortly before the birth of his mother's fifth and final child (a girl). Roald started at nursery when he was four years old, but has very few memories of his time there. The nursery, near his home in Cardiff, was the Elm Tree House primary school that remained active until 2004. Roald talks about different confectionery, his love of sweets, and his fascination with the local sweet shop. He also writes of the free samples of Cadbury chocolate bars given to him and his schoolmates for evaluation. Young Dahl dreamed of working as an inventor for Cadbury, an idea he has said later inspired Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. By the age of seven, Roald was attending Llandaff Cathedral School in the Cardiff. He and his friends had a grudge against the local sweet-shop owner, Mrs. Pratchett, a sour elderly widow who gave no thought to hygiene. They played a prank on her by placing a dead mouse in a gobstopper jar while his friend Thwaites distracted her. They were then caned by the school head master as a punishment, while Mrs. Pratchett watched on in laughter. On one of Roald's visits to his grandparents in Norway, he placed goat droppings in his older sister's fiancé's pipe, thus making him scream and suffer a coughing fit. Later on, one of Roald Dahl's sisters let slip what happened therefore making his sister's lover chase them into the sea. A drive in motorcar, this event happened when Dahl was nine and his sister (twenty one at the time) was driving their first car. She was driving at 35-40 mph when a sudden bend came up. When they crashed Roald flew out the car. When he got up it is said that his nose was hanging on by a small thread of skin. He was taken to the family doctors on Cardiff Cathedral Road.

Literary Terms:

The setting is in UK, in the 1900s. We follow Roald trough his years of education, and we get to learn about the school system in England. We hear a lot of his memories of the boarding schools. Some of the setting is also in Norway, where Roald and his family go on vacation every summer. Roald’s family is in the upper class. This Book is written in the first person point of view, which is Roald himself. The theme of the story is how he felt as a little boy, who was sent away to boarding school. And how it was to be separated from his family at such a young age. The conflict is that Roald sometimes has troubles and worries about relationships between friends, teachers, and him. The irony in this story is when Boald put mouse in a pot of Mrs Pratchett cooperating with his four friends and the event was exposed, his friends made an atmosphere that it is responsible for him. The symbol is the love of his mother. Whenever he is in tough situation, his mother protected him.

Evaluation:

I think that some of the special "treasures" in this book is the good descriptions of things. It makes it easy to understand Roald Dahl's feelings about the things and episodes you can read about. When reading this book I almost felt like it could be me that it was written about. When he talked about the schools he went to, it made me remember my time at elementary school, even if the school systems were totally different. And the descriptions does always have a bit of humour, and I must admit that I laughed a couple of times reading this masterpiece. That way, it became a delight to read this book. An other thing I think is remarkable about this book is that the language is so easy, and that it is divided into many chapters, who make the book very easily read. I think that Roald Dahl has made a good job writing this book, and if I should put a mark to it, I would have to say a B.

#2nd Book Report

Dahl Roald, The BFG, Great Britain, Penguin Group, 200pages, 1982.

Plot Summary:

    Giants aren’t real…are they?  Sophie, a young girl in an orphanage, looks out her window one night and sees this twenty-four foot high giant.  This Big Friendly Giant is just doing his job.  Noticing that Sophie has seen him, he kidnaps her, not because he is mean, but because he is afraid that she will tell someone about him.  If people know about him, he will be captured.

Shortly after arriving back at the BFG’s cave, Sophie is no longer scared.  The BFG tells her that he is a nice giant who uses his big dream trumpet to blow dreams at people through their windows at night.  He also informs her that he is not a people-eating giant.  He doesn’t eat people because he could never do anything so mean.  Instead, he eats snozzcumbers, which he does not like.  His one delight is frobscottle, a drink where the bubbles go down instead of up.

    Not all giants, however, are as nice as the BFG. Actually, none of them are.  The others pick on the BFG for being smaller and a non-people gobbler.  They do not like that he is different.  These other giants are on a mission, a “human bean” harvest all over the world.When Sophie is nearly caught, and the children of England are in the same danger, the BFG devises a plan to warn the Queen of the danger ahead.  He makes a dream about the giants and he and Sophie head to England.  The Queen receives the dream, meets Sophie and the BFG, and the three have breakfast.  The Queen’s army, under the direction of the BFG, sets off to get rid of the giants. The giants are captured, not without the BFG and Sophie almost joining them, and the world is once again safe.  Sophie and the children at the orphanage are asked to live with the Queen at Buckingham Palace, and the BFG goes back to making dreams to give to others as they sleep.

Literary Terms:

(c)  Conflict:        Sophie and the BFG versus other evil giants.

(d)  Climax:         Sophie and the BFG succeed in capturing ferocious

                Giants. The BFG go back and learnt how to speak properly,

                lessoned by Sophie. The BFG start to write essays about

                his own past life.

(e) Symbol:         Giants – Indicating the cause of struggle between them

                    and the BFG.

(f) Irony:           The BFG struggle with other evil giants, though both of

                    them are also giant race.

(g) Theme:         We can make heart-warming friendly ship between human

                    and other creatures. 

Evaluation:

    First, It is shocking that a giant man come to the street and little girl Sophie is kidnapped to the giant world by the giant through the window. At first, Sophie is frightened, but actually, the giant is kind one, different from other giants. In the end of story, The BFG and Sophie succeed in extermination of the giants. I could not expect such a kind giant’s goal is to rid evil giants. That is the biggest shock for me because I guessed they will find the way to make friends with other giants.

    Second, I like this book because characters are very original and interesting. Sophie is very strong girl and active even though she does not have her family. And the BFG, who is not as strong as other giants, is very kind and has wonderful ears. 

    Third, my favorite part of this book is from the BFG talks about what he can hear by using his special ears. Sometimes, on a very clear night, the BFG said, ‘and if I is swiggling my ears in the right direction,’ – and here he swiveled his great ears upwards so they were facing the ceiling – ‘if I is swiggling them like this and the night is very clear, I is sometimes hearing faraway music coming from the stars in the sky.’ I like this part because this story is very beautiful and wonderful even though the BFG cannot speak English correctly. When I read this part, I imagined the song of stars and felt exciting.

    Finally, I think Sophie and the BFG will go to some cities and correct the dreams together. And they will try to stop other giants to eat human. I am interested in how they will stop other giants to eat human and how the relationship between Sophie and the BFG will change. Therefore I want to keep reading this book.

I've not watched a movie at a theater for a long time. I wanna watch a new movie.Searching for new one on the web, I found some movies seemed to be interesting. One is Japanese movie, "My not kind senior."

You know, Kakinotane is one of Japanese snacks being familiar with Japanese. Kakinotane has national brand.

I usually eat kakinotane twice or three times in a week.Quantity of recent traditional japanese snacks cells has been declined, without Kakinotane.

You can drink beer, sake, whiskey, and any other alcohols with Kakinotane. So, Kakinotane matches any drinks.

 Kakinotane can be also used in cooking. First, You crash Kaknotane into small pieces, and you can put them on rice as Furikake. In addition, you can add them to spaghetti as topping flake.

I found interesting artist, Omosirosangokusi.His sense seems to be different from any other artist's things. Even if you are not interested in techno music, you can enjoy his music cause the music's theme is sangokusi, famous historical story of ancient China.
By the way in this summer, big famous music event, "Summer Sonic" will be held in Marine stadium & Makuhari Messe, Chiba. Omosirosangokusi said he took part in competition. I wish he can play his music on the stage of this year's Summer Sonic.

One of my friends, Kento came to my house yesterday. He is so nice guy and is the funniest in the world. I think he is not just my friend but soul mate. Kento is the returnee from LA and is the classmate of Teruma Aoyama. Coming to my home, He always listen Teruma's songs. Effected by him, recent my favorite singer is Teruma. She is so small but her voice is very powerful.

I love these songs. some Japanese famous songs were also played by DJ, TUNAMI, LGYankees, and so on. All of them made me excited and made me dancing. In a club, we do not dance with music, but  music makes us dance!

Night club"Atom"

  Last saturday, I went to the night club, "Atom" in Shibuya with my friends. In the hall, there are so many young people and the music from the stage was so big that while I was in the crowd I lost myself. One of my friends spoke to girls and we treated them to drinks. Entrance charge is 3000 yen for men and one drink usually takes 500 yen. We ordered many glasses of vodka and danced in front of the DJ on the stage.

  The time we entered was about 0:00 am and we went out at 5:00 am, so we danced and drank for 5 hours. We enjoyed so much that we promised to go to the club together again. But I noticed that going the club took too much money and no rose is without a thorn.

I love chinese foods

Last week, I went to a chinese restaurant"Ousho" with my friend, Kento.  I ordered chinese soop noodle and a gyouza set meal. He ordered noodle and fried rices.

 Look at the below of picture. I love this gyouza verrrrryyyyy much! It is so juicy that you can eat many bowls of rice with a piece of gyouza. The price is cheap but the taste is garanteed.
Ousho has many branches in japanese, and each Ousho has own taste. So you can enjoy different taste if you go to other Ousho.

I wish I were a chinese and I could eat chinese dishes everyday.

Fortune-telling

   Yesterday, I met my friend, a fortune-teller. I consulted her about my future and marriage. She told me that my guardian is samurai of the end of edo period. She said the samurai had been interested in overseas. He has same points with me.
   In addition, My aura color is orange. The color means that the person is friendly and he can make friends with any kinds of people. That's right! I am really kind and friendly man. And in her words, My ability and potential are good and will be better in the future.
   For her helpful advices, I could have clear vision and be cheerful.

Ｉ made spaghetti

I have many chances since I moved to new my house. My recent favorite dish is spaghetti, especially, boiled hard. In my childfood, my mam used to cook spaghetti. My mom are good at cookin 0nly spaghetti. First, boil 250g spaghetti in the large pot. Pouring water in it, throw a pinch of salt into it the pot. While boiling it, cut vegetables and meats. fry All of them in a pan, and get them mixed up with spagetti. 
I can ate them deliciously.

Tantan noodle

Last night, I went to chinese restaurant. It was deserted restaulant, because a few tables, and menu there are. At first, I made a fool of the shop. So, I ordered tan tan noodle, which is really hot and contains a lot of sesame. Soooo hot it was! It was terrible hot as if I swallowed fire. I have never experienced such a just hot noodles. There were no tastes in the dish. I felt unger when I carry the noodles to my mouth and bite them.

I will never go there. Shit!

Last week,I bought a new pc,imac. It costed about 22,000yen.It was enough high price to make me poor and hungry.My purse got a severe blow.
The reason why I bought the pc is to do my homework with it. In addition, the pc has a high spec CPU and wide screen,so it is confortable to use it without stress.
I lost a lot of money,though I don't regret.It is no use crying over spilt milk.

I like Capsule, music artists. I love their sound and I am listening "Fruits clipper" now.

With my friend

Next Saturday or Sunday, I will go to the Tokyo disneyland. Only men group it is. I have ever been there twice. First time was my junior high schoolhood and next  was my high schoolhood. I like the disneyland so much that I remember what I did and eat there. Especially I love "splash mountain,"  "big thunder moutain," and "space mountain." They are famous for their speed and atmosheric pressure.

 In the future, I wanna go around the earth and enjoy all desneylands in the world. I think there are different points with attractions and the way to enjoy of the people of the district. Combining trip and studying language, I will go to the US during the long vacation.

New activity and Internet

   On last Saturday, I went to activity of a party of college students, "Tsunagari Cafe". The group is formed mainly with Waseda Univ. students, though, some other university's students there were. My friend picked me up to Shibuya. Going into the building, there were many students and all they were talking each other. I thought it was just a party at first, but the topics were about their dreams, the activities they wanna do, job hunting and so on. Further more, the topic extended over poverty. Each of them were thinking and talking seriously.

listening heir stories, I was so impressed that I speaked about my dream. My dream is to be a cameraman or a newspaper reporter.  There was the one who is familiar with the mass media, so I asked him many things and problems. He was good enough to explain the detail and give me advices. Refering his story, I will think about my future deeper.

   

UDON

Udon is a kind of japanese traditional noodles.It has elasticity and goes through a throat smoosy.I love udon so much that I usually eat it twice a week at least. In summer, udon whets the appetite making it cold.Not only cold udon but hot udon is also good in a cold season.You can eat hot udon with various vegetables with great relish. Throwghing all of them into a pot and stewing them, a great la carte is ready to eat!

In this time, I made pork and eggplant udon. The udon was pretty delisious as though I cooked. Next time, I'll try different taste of udon.

On sunday, I woke up late on 9:00 am. In the morning, a internet worker came and constructed an internet circuit.It finished soon,but He was inhospitably.
In addition,He did not explain the way to start up settings though he's already known I'm biginner with a circuit.
"Yes,""No,""call a custommer center and ask them."Saying only such easy words, he got out of my room quickly. why didn't you think it was rude to behave indifferently?

be late for school

In this morning, I'm wating for delivery that the desk I bought last week. Delivery dealer called me and told me that delivery would be late. But, I had 1st.period class today. If I was not in my home, I cannot receive the thing. I'm at a loss whether to wait for delivery or to go to Univ.
Thinking deeply then, I remenbered I paid money for delivery. So I decided to wait for it at home. After receiving it, I hurried to the class. Sadnessly, The class had already started. I felt relieved that I managed to be in time for the class though teacher looked sour. If I'm in similar busy situation again, I have to prepare for it.

I will handle the washing mathine carefully because I wanna use it for ever and ever.

Rainy

Today's weather is rainy. When I woke up and watched window,I was disappointed. Rain remind me of depression, darkness, and so on. To tell the truth, I don't like rain. In my primary schoolhood, I used to break my umbrellas, turning it upside down and gather drops of rain.Coming back home, my parents scolded meblaming for braking it.
So,I don't have good memory related with rain.There may be people like rain, I cannot understand their feeling at all. But, I like flower got wet with rain. Especially, I think a hydrangea is the best one in rainy day.It is something like austere refinement.

In this afternoon, a washing mathine and light stand that I bought last week will arrive at my room. The washing mathine is so convenient because it contains a drier. In busy morning, you can finish washing clothes just only throwing them into the mathine. Coming back home, you fold those clothes, that's all. Thanks for the washing mathine, I'll de delighted to wash something, in addition, to crean my room, a bath, a toilet and so on.

In this morning, I woke up so late that I couldn't eat breakfast. So I ate some cokkies as a breakfast. But, it isn't enough to fill my stomach. So in lunchtime, my friend and I went into the students' dining hall. Arriving at the hall, there were many stuents as if many ants swarmed over their foods.

Mmm... It's ok, No problem. I've trying to reduce my weight. So, I'll pay attention not to eat too much and I'm to eat vegetables as a dinner if possible. ........To tell the truth. I wanna eat 500g stakes and large servings of rice.

I moved to Fuchinobe

I had lived in Kokubunji, west of tokyo. But it took 1hour and hurf from my house to the Aoyama Univ because it was too far away! Now the apartment room I live in has about 28㎡. It is large enough, no, I feel it is too large. There were no funitures, so the atomosphere made me feel alone.
So last saturday, I went shopping to Machida. I bought many things, a curtain, a table, a carpet, a washing mathine,and etc. Espeshially, the washing mathine was too expensive. It took 54,000yen. My purse became empty soon.
But there are something to buy yet. I wanna buy new PC. The note PC I use now performs slowly. Slow-witted PC. To get new PC, I'll do part-time job. I wanna earn 300,00yen at least. I'll do my best!
